The tour begins in Arucas with a visit to the famous Arehucas Rum Distillery. During the tour, you will discover how one of the Canary Islands' most iconic products is made and learn about the different stages of the rum-making process. The visit also includes a tasting.
The next stop is the Banana Museum in Arucas. Here, you can learn about the history of banana cultivation in the Canary Islands, its development over the years and its importance to local culture and gastronomy. The experience also includes a tasting of banana-related products.
The tour then continues to Agaete, where you will have free time to explore the town and enjoy lunch if you wish. Lunch is optional and is not included in the excursion price.
The final stop is Los Berrazales Estate. In this beautiful area of northern Gran Canaria, you will discover the estate's crops and learn about the wines produced in the region. You will also enjoy a coffee tasting and take part in a workshop where you will learn how to prepare traditional Canarian mojo.
Overall, this experience is designed to discover Gran Canaria through some of its most characteristic products: rum, bananas, wine, coffee and mojo. The excursion lasts approximately 8 hours.
