We will continue with a visit to the tropical gardens where you will be able to observe the different fruit trees such as mango, papaya, guava, passion fruit, among others. You can enjoy a delicious typical Canarian tapas such as wrinkled potatoes, the typical cheese of the island, olives from Santa Lucia, homemade jams, among others, and a drink is included and optionally natural juices (not included in the price).

If you want to spend a different day in Gran Canaria’s south on dromedary back this is your chance. All this in a desert environment and ideal to enjoy Gran Canaria‘s fauna and flora for a few hours.

The dromedary ride, approximately 1 hour, will take place in the Valley of Fataga, consisting of a row of 30 dromedaries that will be with you during the entire tour.

In addition to the ride, we want you to enjoy a day of total connection with the dromedaries, knowing their Customs, feed them, take pictures with them, etc., as well as spending a pleasant day where you can also taste a special menu ask directly there or a wonderful selection of typical Canarian tapas.

We did the hour safari...which took from 8:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m....far more than the half day advertised. We were transported on a LARGE bus...which having made the same trip the previous day in a Jeep...I was surprised I felt safer in the Jeep. A huge bus is NOT made for the road taken to get to the safari. I live camels and have ridden for a shorter period in both Turkey and Dubai. I far prefer the traditional saddle...I also disliked how the camels had to wear masks... the camel behind us took a liking to me...and banged the mask into the back of my head and shoulder the entire time...my husband was able to hold the camel back some...but this left his arm in an awkward position for most of the ride. I think this excursion was okay...but had I known I was going to the same place and could have had this experience on the Jeep tour I would have opted for that. Like all your excursions, this was reasonably priced.
